Yesterday, members of Prima Nota had the pleasure of attending Brazilian Association of South Australia Festa Junina 2026 – a vibrant celebration of Brazilian culture, community, music, dance, and food.

A special thank you to Thaís Martins, President of the Brazilian Association of South Australia, for extending the invitation and for the warm welcome. It was wonderful to see the incredible work BASA continues to do in bringing people together and celebrating Brazilian culture here in South Australia.

It was also a real pleasure to reconnect with Talita Fontainha . We have had the opportunity to collaborate with Talita in the past, and as always, she brought warmth, energy, professionalism, and enthusiasm to the event.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was meeting so many community members, speaking with local vendors, learning more about Brazilian traditions, and enjoying a variety of delicious Brazilian food.

We were also delighted to see many familiar faces from across South Australia’s multicultural sector, including Miriam Cocking, Chair of Multicultural Communities Council of SA, and other friends and colleagues connected to the multicultural community.

Most of all, it was wonderful to witness the joy, pride, and sense of belonging shared by the Brazilian community throughout the celebration. Events like Festa Junina remind us of the important role that culture plays in bringing people together and strengthening our multicultural society.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a welcoming and joyful event. We look forward to future opportunities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate together.
