And that’s a wrap on Prima Nota’s 2026 AGM ❤️
A little glimpse from around the table today- members, volunteers, friends and Committee members reflecting on a year that somehow managed to include everything from Maslenitsa, choirs, dance, crafts and community events to ANZAC Day, Refugee Week, women’s support, new partnerships, and a lot of volunteer hours behind the scenes.
We’re delighted to welcome back our re-elected Committee, and especially happy to welcome Christina Derbyshire as our newest Committee member. Christina brings many years of professional experience in psychology and mental health, and her perspective will be particularly valuable as our community wellbeing and women’s support work continues to grow.
And we already know what we want the next year to look like: a stronger and more sustainable Prima Nota, more members, better support for We Listen And We Don’t Judge, new health and wellbeing initiatives, more opportunities for local artists and community members, stronger multicultural partnerships- and, of course, plenty of cultural events along the way.
There is already a lot happening in the next few weeks, so stay close. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who voted, sent proxies, volunteered, participated and trusted us this year.
A new Prima Nota year starts now. 🥰
