🌿 MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND PRIMA NOTA
Introducing Christina Derbyshire | Committee Member
We are genuinely privileged and deeply honoured to welcome Christina Derbyshire to the Prima Nota committee.
Christina brings a wealth of experience in psychology, administration and organisational governance. But beyond her professional expertise, what we particularly value is her kindness, genuine curiosity about others and deeply human, people-first approach.
At Prima Nota, we believe that meaningful community work begins with listening, understanding and treating people with dignity. Christina embodies these values beautifully.
A few words from Christina herself:
“I am very happy to be on the committee of Prima Nota.
My background is in both psychology and administration. Over the years I have sat on a non-profit board as well as various committees in the psychology and corporate sphere.
My approach to these was solution focused and results oriented but also took into consideration the funding and time management aspect of volunteering.
During my time working and living in other countries, tolerance and adaptability were essential, as well as curiosity.
I hope to be able to both contribute to the breadth and strength of Prima Nota as well as listen and learn about the Russian community in Adelaide.
Despite only knowing perhaps two words in Russian — ‘please’ and ‘yes’ — I’m looking forward to meeting the Prima Nota community and helping to further establish broader cultural relationships and assist the organisation to grow.”
Christina, welcome to Prima Nota! 💛
We are so fortunate to have you alongside us as we continue building a community rooted in kindness, belonging and mutual respect.
Добро пожаловать! 🌿
