Overview
Prima Nota held a Community Wellbeing Session on 17 May 2026, supported by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation (ADF) and MCCSA (Multicultural Communities Council of SA), with additional support from the Russian-Speaking Women’s Association in SA and Breast Screen SA.
Approximately 35–45 participants attended. 45 participants signed the attendance sheet. Actual attendance may have been higher as some participants did not sign in.

Overview
Prima Nota held a free information session on 21 July 2026 for the Russian-speaking community about Census 2026 and the work of the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), held over the lunch break at MCCSA Hall, 113 Gilbert Street, Adelaide.
Representatives from the ABS attended to explain the purpose of the Census and answer questions directly from community members, with light refreshments provided.

A key message from the session: if you are in Australia on Census Night, you need to be counted — including international students, temporary workers, visa holders and visitors.
For multicultural communities, Census participation is essential. It shows how many of us live here, which languages we speak and what support our communities may need. For the Russian-speaking community, accurate Census data can help strengthen the case for resources such as ethnic and community-language schools, translated information and interpreting, and health, cultural and community programs. When our community is counted, our community becomes visible.

Overview
On 13 August 2026, Prima Nota held its first information session with Services Australia for South Australia’s Russian-speaking community, at MCCSA — Multicultural Communities Council of South Australia, 113 Gilbert Street, Adelaide.
The group size turned out to be just right: everyone could follow the general presentation and ask questions, with time afterwards for attendees to speak with the speaker individually — either directly or with the assistance of an interpreter — about their own circumstances.
