Community Microenterprise & Economic Participation Programme
Supporting migrant entrepreneurs to navigate Australian systems with confidence
Prima Nota delivers community-focused educational support for migrant and CALD individuals who are establishing or operating small-scale microenterprises in South Australia.
This programme is delivered on a modest cost-recovery basis. Contributions are structured below commercial advisory rates and are intended to partially offset delivery and administrative costs. Any surplus income is reinvested into Prima Nota’s charitable programmes.
This programme advances Prima Nota’s charitable objectives by:
- Reducing systemic barriers faced by migrant entrepreneurs
- Improving access to basic business literacy in accessible language
- Supporting economic participation and self-reliance
- Reducing social and financial isolation among newly established migrants
Many migrant microbusiness owners experience language barriers, unfamiliar regulatory systems, and limited access to culturally appropriate guidance. This programme provides foundational, educational support.
