A meaningful day for Prima Nota at Parliament House.
Prima Nota Chair Nina Iouguina, together with Committee Members Aliona Kosloff and Sonia Michailov (also our Treasurer), had the opportunity to meet with the Hon Nadia Clancy MP, Minister for Multicultural Affairs, for a thoughtful and constructive conversation about issues that matter to multicultural communities in South Australia. We are very grateful to Minister Clancy for her time, for listening, and for the opportunity to share our perspective.
We also had a very welcome encounter with Premier Peter Malinauskas MP during our visit.
Our sincere thanks to both the Minister and the Premier for their continued support of multiculturalism and for recognising the importance of South Australia’s many ethnic, cultural and linguistic communities being able to participate fully and visibly in the life of our state.
For Prima Nota, multiculturalism is about more than celebrating different cultures. It is about belonging, equal participation, connection between communities, and ensuring that every community has a place at the table.
Thank you for the time, the conversation and the continued commitment to a genuinely multicultural South Australia. ❤️
