FACILITATORS WANTED- WORKSHOPS & MASTERCLASSES
Folk Pancake Festival Maslenitsa SA 2026
📍 Linde Reserve, Stepney · 🗓 15 February 2026, 1pm – 9pm
We are inviting artists, makers, and cultural practitioners to deliver hands-on workshops and masterclasses as part of Maslenitsa SA 2026- a community-run Slavic folk festival celebrating food, music, and culture.
Workshop formats:
Option 1. Festival program (recommended)
• Workshop runs as part of the official festival program
• Participant donations are collected by the festival
• 70% to facilitator / 30% to festival (to cover costs)
• Covered under the festival’s insurance
• Festival provides space, scheduling, and promotion
• Materials costs discussed individually (may be shared or partially covered where possible)
Option 2. Independent workshop
• Facilitator runs the workshop independently
• Facilitator retains 100% of participant payments
• Facilitator provides their own insurance and promotion
• Workshop is listed as an independent activity within the festival
We are interested in:
• Traditional and folk crafts
• Children’s creative workshops
• Textile, embroidery, doll-making, mask-making
• Decorative arts, paper crafts, painting
• Other culturally aligned hands-on activities
