This is peer support, not professional counselling.<\/p>\n          <div class=\"notice-box\">\n            <strong>What you bring:<\/strong>\n            Your story \u2014 and the wisdom that came from it. A genuine desire to listen without judgement. Commitment to training, boundaries, and your own wellbeing.\n          <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-header\" onclick=\"wlToggle(this)\">\n          <span class=\"accordion-toggle\">&#x203A;<\/span>\n          <h3 class=\"accordion-title\">Your Role<\/h3>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"accordion-content\">\n          <p><strong>What you will do:<\/strong><\/p>\n          <ul>\n            <li>Attend induction and ongoing training as required<\/li>\n            <li>Hold regular peer support conversations (typically 45\u201360 min)<\/li>\n            <li>Maintain session notes using the provided template<\/li>\n            <li>Attend monthly peer supervision sessions<\/li>\n            <li>Refer to professional services when appropriate<\/li>\n            <li>Report mandatory reporting situations to Nina Iouguina immediately<\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n          <p><strong>What you will NOT do:<\/strong><\/p>\n          <ul>\n            <li>Provide legal, financial, or medical advice<\/li>\n            <li>Share personal contact details with participants<\/li>\n            <li>Meet participants at private residences<\/li>\n            <li>Make decisions on behalf of a participant<\/li>\n            <li>Manage clinical risk alone<\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n    <!-- SECTION: Trauma-Informed Practice -->\n    <div class=\"section\">\n      <div class=\"section-label\">Trauma-Informed Practice<\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-header\" onclick=\"wlToggle(this)\">\n          <span class=\"accordion-toggle\">&#x203A;<\/span>\n          <h3 class=\"accordion-title\">The Five Principles<\/h3>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"accordion-content\">\n          <ul>\n            <li><strong>Safety<\/strong> \u2014 every aspect of your interaction prioritises the participant&#8217;s physical and emotional safety.<\/li>\n            <li><strong>Trustworthiness<\/strong> \u2014 you do what you say. Keep appointments. Maintain confidentiality. Be consistent.<\/li>\n            <li><strong>Choice<\/strong> \u2014 the participant leads. You offer options, never push. &#8220;What would be most helpful for you right now?&#8221;<\/li>\n            <li><strong>Collaboration<\/strong> \u2014 you are alongside her, not above her. You don&#8217;t have the answers \u2014 you hold the space for her to find her own.<\/li>\n            <li><strong>Empowerment<\/strong> \u2014 help her trust her own instincts, not become dependent on yours.<\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-header\" onclick=\"wlToggle(this)\">\n          <span class=\"accordion-toggle\">&#x203A;<\/span>\n          <h3 class=\"accordion-title\">Active Listening<\/h3>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"accordion-content\">\n          <p><strong>Do:<\/strong><\/p>\n          <ul>\n            <li>Reflect back: &#8220;It sounds like that was incredibly difficult&#8230;&#8221;<\/li>\n            <li>Validate: &#8220;Your reaction makes complete sense given what happened.&#8221;<\/li>\n            <li>Ask open questions: &#8220;What was that like for you?&#8221;<\/li>\n            <li>Sit with silence \u2014 not every pause needs to be filled.<\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n          <p><strong>Avoid:<\/strong><\/p>\n          <ul>\n            <li>&#8220;You should&#8230;&#8221;, &#8220;Have you tried&#8230;&#8221;, &#8220;At least&#8230;&#8221;<\/li>\n            <li>&#8220;I know exactly how you feel&#8221;<\/li>\n            <li>Rushing to solutions or reassurances<\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/div>\n\n      <div class=\"accordion-item\">\n        <div class=\"accordion-header\" onclick=\"wlToggle(this)\">\n          <span class=\"accordion-toggle\">&#x203A;<\/span>\n          <h3 class=\"accordion-title\">Vicarious Trauma &amp; Self-Care<\/h3>\n        <\/div>\n        <div class=\"accordion-content\">\n          <p>Supporting people in pain can affect you. This is called <strong>vicarious trauma<\/strong> \u2014 it is a sign of care, not weakness.<\/p>\n          <p><strong>Signs to watch for:<\/strong><\/p>\n          <ul>\n            <li>Difficulty sleeping or intrusive thoughts after sessions<\/li>\n            <li>Feeling emotionally numb or over-identifying with a participant<\/li>\n            <li>Finding it hard to &#8220;switch off&#8221; after sessions<\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n          <div class=\"notice-box\">\n            <strong>Your wellbeing comes first.<\/strong>\n            Monthly peer supervision is mandatory. You do not share her name, story, or circumstances with anyone outside the We Listen team.<\/p>\n          <div class=\"notice-box\">\n            <strong>Exceptions \u2014 when you MUST report:<\/strong>\n            A child is at risk of harm &bull;
