It is designed to ensure clarity, prevent misunderstandings, and align our community with Australian nonprofit (NFP) standards.<\/p>\n            <h3>1. What Prima Nota Is (and Isn&#8217;t)<\/h3>\n            <p>Prima Nota is a South Australian incorporated association and a community-based nonprofit organisation (NFP).<\/p>\n            <p><strong>This means:<\/strong><\/p>\n            <ul>\n                <li>We are not a business<\/li>\n                <li>We are not an employer<\/li>\n                <li>We are volunteer-driven, as are the vast majority of cultural NFPs in Australia<\/li>\n                <li>Our operations are regulated by legislation, not personal preference or individual expectations<\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n            <h3>2. Volunteer vs Employee (Fair Work Act 2009)<\/h3>\n            <h4>Volunteer:<\/h4>\n            <ul>\n                <li>Not paid wages<\/li>\n                <li>Not hired as staff<\/li>\n                <li>Contributes time freely<\/li>\n                <li>Cannot demand or expect payment<\/li>\n                <li>Protected under volunteer standards, not employment law<\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n            <h4>Employee:<\/h4>\n            <ul>\n                <li>Has a contract of employment<\/li>\n                <li>Must be paid according to awards or agreements<\/li>\n                <li>Has workplace rights and entitlements<\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n            <p><strong>Prima Nota does not employ staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n            <h3>3. Reimbursements (Volunteering Australia Standard 6)<\/h3>\n            <p>Reimbursement is not payment. It is only refunding approved expenses related directly to an organisational project, submitted with receipts. It does not cover time, labour, or personal initiatives.<\/p>\n            <h3>6. Committee Structure (Model Rules SA)<\/h3>\n            <p>The governing committee oversees compliance, ensures financial accountability, approves budgets, authorises public communications and partnerships, and protects the organisation from risk.<\/p>\n            <h3>7.
