At Prima Nota, singing is more than music \u2014 it’s connection, culture, and community. Three choirs, one family: women, men, and a youth group gathering shape, all singing the songs that carry us between two languages and two worlds. We rehearse separately and often perform together, because some songs are simply bigger than one voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We welcome singers of all backgrounds, levels, and ages. Whether you’ve sung all your life or are just beginning \u2014 there’s a place for your voice here. No auditions, anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prima Donna<\/strong> is a women’s choir for Russian-speaking women, creating a warm and supportive space where every voice can shine. We celebrate the beauty of choral music, from timeless classics to contemporary arrangements, and focus on helping each singer discover and develop her unique sound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by passionate choir leaders and vocal coaches from across Adelaide, Prima Donna welcomes all women \u2014 no auditions required. Every voice matters, and every singer is valued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We Do:<\/strong>
\u2022 Explore a diverse repertoire of choral music in Russian and beyond
\u2022 Build vocal technique, confidence, and ensemble skills
\u2022 Create a supportive, inclusive community for women of all ages

Prima Voce \u2014 Men’s Choir<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

No auditions. No pressure. Just voices, rhythm, and connection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prima Voce<\/strong> is a community choir for Russian-speaking men who want to sing the songs they know, reconnect with language and heritage, and enjoy the company of others in a welcoming space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by a professional choir director and classical vocalist, Prima Voce is more than a musical group \u2014 it’s a place where men can relax, belong, and express themselves without judgment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What We Do:<\/strong>
\u2022 Sing familiar Russian and English songs \u2014 from folk and military ballads to pop classics
\u2022 Explore the rhythm and strength of group singing
\u2022 Laugh, connect, and rebuild confidence in a male-friendly setting

Prima Vera \u2014 Youth Choir (Forming \u2014 Register Your Interest)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Your voice belongs. Even if it trembles.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prima Vera<\/strong> is a planned youth choir for Russian-speaking girls and daughters of migrants (ages 12\u201320) who want to sing, connect, and grow together \u2014 in language, confidence, and creativity. We’re currently gathering expressions of interest before scheduling rehearsals, so timing and venue will depend on who signs up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You don’t need experience. You don’t need perfect Russian. You just need a desire to sing \u2014 and a place to belong. If enough girls register interest, Prima Vera will launch with its own rehearsal day, led by a classically trained vocalist and choir leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
