Honouring traditions, marking transitions, and celebrating togetherness.

While our annual Maslenitsa festival is a highlight, Prima Nota also hosts and supports a variety of other cultural events throughout the year — all designed to foster belonging, visibility, and creative participation for Russian-speaking migrants and their wider communities.

Some events honour traditional holidays. Others reimagine cultural practices through art, music, or play. All are rooted in the belief that cultural celebration is a vital part of migrant wellbeing.

Past and Upcoming Events Include:
• Victory Day Mafia Night — A themed strategy game in honour of WWII remembrance, exploring legacy and resistance through immersive roleplay
• Cosmonautics Day Game Night — Celebrating space heritage with humour, history, and a custom card game
• Easter Storytelling Games — A light-hearted take on folk characters and holiday traditions
• Choir Showcases and Community Concerts — Featuring the voices of Prima Voce and Prima Vera

We also participate in:
• Multicultural festivals across South Australia
• Local council events and community activations
• Seasonal workshops and cross-cultural collaborations
